Workshop & Classroom Spaces

Historic charm meets modern functionality. Our flexible spaces provide the perfect setting for workshops, classes, meetings, and community events in the heart of Cotherstone.

The School Room

Versatile Community Space

Our school room at the back of the café offers a welcoming space for groups of various sizes. With a large dining table perfect for meetings, workshops, or craft sessions, plus entertainment options including table football and pool tables, it's designed to be both functional and fun.

The room provides a comfortable environment where adults can meet and work while children play, or everyone can join in together. It's the perfect setting for community groups, hobby clubs, training sessions, or informal gatherings. The relaxed atmosphere encourages participation and connection, whether you're learning new skills or simply enjoying time with like-minded people.

Every Friday from 2pm, we host our popular Games Afternoon in this space, welcoming all ages from 3 to 103. It's a brilliant example of how our facilities bring the community together, with traditional board games like Scrabble, chess, and dominoes alongside modern games and children's activities.

Community Groups Welcome

A Home for Local Organisations

We're proud to host wonderful groups like The Sisters in Stitches, who've found our spaces perfect for their regular meetings. The combination of comfortable surroundings, easy access, and the option to enjoy refreshments makes our venues ideal for ongoing community activities.

Whether you're an established group looking for a new home or thinking about starting something new, we'd love to hear from you. Our flexible spaces can accommodate different types of activities, from craft workshops and hobby groups to training sessions and community meetings. The historic setting adds something special to any gathering.

We understand that successful community groups need reliable, affordable venues. That's why we work with local organisations to provide spaces that support their activities whilst fitting their budgets. After all, strengthening community connections is at the heart of everything we do.
